Duties and Responsibilities:
- Love working with people and be genuinely positive, outgoing and enthusiastic.
- Assist patients in selecting the best frames and lenses possible for their visual needs and lifestyle.
- Review insurance benefits with patients and processing orders for glasses and contacts.
- Contact lens trainings for new contact lens wearers.
- Checking in glasses from the lab and ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Adjusting frames on patients to ensure proper alignment and comfort. Also performing basic repairs and adjustments.
- Maintain frame inventory.
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Knowledge of pulling authorizations for VSP, Eyemed, MES and other vision insurances.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Optometric/Ophthalmic field
- Experience with Crystal PM EHR preferred (but not required).
This is a Full Time, Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS Position.
We are a high-tech professional office and are willing to train our new team member on other aspects of our office if necessary. Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
