Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing swimming pools and related equipment.

This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power and hand tools, and a strong attention to detail.

This job will be on an as-needed basis and will not include a minimum number of hours. We estimate hours per week to be anywhere from 10-20 hours in the beginning with opportunities for more.

This is a great opportunity for someone will pool service experience to gain extra money on weekends or as needed.

Note:

You will not be provided with a company vehicle so it is strongly encouraged you have a reliable truck, van, or SUV for equipment.

You WILL be reimbursed for mileage.

Anyone without prior pool service technician knowledge and experience need not apply.


Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing
• Repair and replace pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and other plumbing as required per job
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool systems and equipment
• Perform repairs on pool surfaces, tiles, and grout as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
• Lead a small team of technicians in which you will provide guidance, training, and arrive on job sites as needed
• Install above ground pools
• Replace liners on both inground and above ground pools

Experience

• Strong knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with pool equipment repair and troubleshooting (including plumbing and basic pump installations)
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs
• Ability to lead from the front and guide technicians on proper techniques
• Proven experience installing above ground pools and replacing liners
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
