Position Overview:


  • The overall management of the nursing care provided, assuring competent, compassionate and costeffective patient care from admission to discharge;
  • Assuring the safety, comfort, personal hygiene and protection of patients and performing disease prevention and restorative measures;
  • Responding to medical and environmental emergencies

Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required.

BSN preferred.


Licensure & Certification
Current California RN license Required

Current (BCLS) Basic Life Support Certification Required

Current (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required

Certification gastroenterology registered nurse, CGRN, Preferred


Experience
1 year in an acute care (inpatient and outpatient) GI procedural experience Required.

Two years GI experience preferred.

Moderate Sedation experience Required.


Other Qualifications:

Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.

Able to clearly demonstrate knowledge of nursing process and nursing theory.

Able to effectively present ideas.

Demonstrates leadership capabilities, good interpersonal skills and a team player.
