Job Posting Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead

Time Type:
Full Time


The Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials.

This role will require strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials, in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical inventory counts
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and standards are followed, and that all employees are trained on safe operating procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory, equipment, or personnel
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. transportation, customer service) to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Educational background / Work experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
  • At least 35 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment
Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills

Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)

  • Supervises and trains warehouse staff
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or a related field
  • Certification in warehouse management or related field
Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy

  • Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory management software preferred.

For this position, the expected base pay is
:$22.50 -
$30.50 / Hourly.

Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
