This role manages the day-to-day operations for the enterprise risk management program, including oversight of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program, fraud, compliance, and organization wide-vendor management process.


Key Job Functions:


  • Develops and manages Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks.
  • Assesses the risk potential of controls, activities, policies, and procedures, and aids in developing new practices and procedures to mitigate undue risk and loss to the credit union.
  • Serves as the BSA Officer and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Officer for the credit union.
  • Ensures corrective actions are implemented to remedy compliance violations or deficiencies noted in internal/external audit reports and NCUA examinations on a timely basis.
  • Maintains oversight of vendor management and the organization's Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including scenario testing and training.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Five to eight years of similar or related experience. Prior experience in a financial institution is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of risk management or internal control frameworks and activities is a plus.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
