Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid reports to the Director of Student Financial Services.
This position is responsible for assisting the Director with directing the overall operation of student financial aid services, conducting staff training, reviewing the packaging of financial aid awards, preparing federal and state reports, performing reconciliation of federal funds, and counseling students regarding information on financial assistance.
In the absence of the Director, they will provide leadership to the department and contribute to accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Student Financial Services office.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.Qualifications:
