Description
Provide thought leadership, critical thinking, inquisitive approach, and a high degree of independent engineering knowledge to global, multi-functional product development teams.
Support internal/external customers and global multi-functional colleagues by presenting technical data and project achievements & updates.Collaborate with sales, application engineering, marketing, and quality teams in customer communications, commitments, and issue resolution.
Develop proficiency/mastery in existing calculators and engineering tools, along with the facilitation and creation of new design and analysis tools as needed.
Conceive and implement development and testing plans with an approach towards risk mitigation, while coordinating with appropriate resources for timely execution.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, another technology discipline or equivalent. Proficient in the use of various office computer programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.Proficient in the use of various engineering computer programs such as NX/SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Minitab.
Legal authorization to work in the United States, unrestricted for an unlimited period of time - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Two (2) years of relevant work experience, including co-op terms, in development of electrically driven rotating equipment or similar fields.
Proficient in the engineering principles in the areas of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics, materials, statics, dynamics, machine design, and/or tribology.
Knowledge of thermodynamics, vapor compression cycle & heat transfer knowledge/experience applied to Air Conditioning & Heat Pump systems.Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to two days a week and a core hour schedule.
You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm.
