Description

A procedure writer composes technical procedures by collaborating with human resources, management, and other department heads to gain a thorough understanding of each area's operations.

The purpose of this is to ensure employees understand company policies, rules, and regulations.


The role reports to the QMS/QA Manager and involves developing and maintaining plant operating procedures to ensure safe and compliant operations of systems and facilities.

The role requires adherence to Plant Operations programs, project procedures, policies laws, regulations, contracts, technical requirements, and Authorization basis.


Compensation:

$25 - $37 hourly


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and prepare work instructions
  • Review and observe processes, extracting key sequences and steps to produce or revise procedures, work instructions, and related documents

The writer will produce procedural documents:

  • Technically accurate
  • Complete
  • Comprehensive
  • Easy to follow/ Easy to understand
  • Consistent in format
  • Analyze/ Generate multiple documents and document procedures to support Scott Manufacturing Processes
  • Produce written operational procedures approved and in place in accordance with an agreed timetable
  • Work closely with the Training & Development department to ensure Training, Competence and Awareness of all procedures and policies

Document Control:


  • Monitor and maintain control of all relevant documentation as it pertains to the quality system and regulatory and/or statutory requirements

Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:


  • US citizenship required
  • Must be able to type 60 words per minute

Position Type:


  • Fulltime office
  • No remote/ No telework offered
