The
Boeing Maritime Undersea organization is seeking a
Logistics Support Representative (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Mission Operations team located in
Huntington Beach, California.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Support Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive logistics support activities to ensure the smooth operation of an Operations and Maintenance contract for a fielded system.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and resolving customer supply support system inventory discrepancies, investigating total system demand management, and monitoring logistics system performance.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in improving customer satisfaction by soliciting feedback and taking proactive measures to enhance the overall logistics support experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and superb organizational skills to effectively manage logistics support activities.
  • Take ownership and pride in ensuring that the repair area conforms to Boeing lab excellence standards.
  • Manage the stock room efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory management using appropriate software tools and systems.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of equipment with various groups, including commercial shippers like FedEx, UPS, USPS, as well as customer groups.
  • Oversee facilities management for the test area and car port area, ensuring a safe and wellmaintained working environment.
  • Adhere to Boeing safety requirements and be capable of lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
  • Utilize your knowledge of government property and security processes to handle and manage government property effectively.
  • Promote Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness in repair and stock areas, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Interface with internal and external customers, including FSR Project Manager, FSRs, and engineers, to address their logistics support needs and provide timely assistance.

This position requires an active TS/SSBI and SCI clearance Pre-Start. The US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition for the requisite TS/SSBI clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 or more years of experience with operations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to lift 35 or more pounds during a shift.
  • Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Experience using a computer based inventory management system (such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor Degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance.
  • Strong Customer Focus and Commitment to Continuous Learning.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
