Summary
- Track inventory purchase order (PO) status and associated documentation, ensuring timely delivery and efficient shipping methods.
- Initiate and manage goods return and credit processes with vendors as required.
- Handle replacement and replenishment of consigned items based on Inventory Control Specialist requests, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Maintain regular communication with physicians to remain informed about industry trends and identify suitable vendors for purchasing needs.
- Conduct thorough vendor and SKU comparisons to assess preferred suppliers and alternative products, ensuring the best value for the organization.
- Update the Envi system with new item information and maintain accurate vendor pricing data.
- Adhere to procurement policies and procedures and purchase goods and services that meet the organization's quantity and quality standards.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate restocking procedures to prevent stockouts and maintain adequate supplies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new products, incorporating relevant information into purchasing decisions.
- Conduct price analysis by comparing available goods with industry trends to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
- Review inventory vendor invoices, conduct research, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Match PO receiving with vendor invoicing in terms of quantity and pricing.
- Manage accounts payable on the Envi system, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of all inventory purchases.
- Batch out invoices, perform accounting entries, and update books of accounts in both Envi and QuickBooks.
Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of procurement experience in a fastpaced environment.
- Base knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; advanced skills are a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently, demonstrating selfmotivation and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- A healthcare industry background is a preference.
Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
