Description
ABOUT THIS POSITIONApproximately 48 million passengers traveled through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in 2023, one of the busiest airports in the country in the nation's 5th largest city. Sky Harbor is the largest of three airports in the Phoenix Airport System (Phoenix Sky Harbor, Deer Valley, and Goodyear airports) which is operated by the City of Phoenix Aviation Department and has an economic impact of $38 billion annually.
The Aviation Department has a vacancy for a Contract Manager position within the Aviation Facilities and Services (F&S) Division, comprised of six sections. The Management Services section supports F&S' business needs through contract management, budget, inventory management, project management, and training programs. The Contract Manager is responsible for the development of the contract scope of services and/or specifications, execution, compliance oversight, and contract spend management of F&S' contracts.
Additional responsibilities include supervising professional-level staff involved in a variety of contract monitoring activities, including preparation of the scope of services and/or specifications, monitoring spend authorization, contract compliance, and renewal of contracts. The Contract Manager will exercise independent judgement. They will also research, develop, and recommend new contract opportunities, which may include conducting industry benchmarking, developing the scope of services and/or specification solicitation documents, creating and collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement new services and programs.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Pay Range: $69,492.80 to $131,040.00 annually.
Hiring Range: $69,492.80 to $97,780.80 annually.
