- Conducts chart reviews for a broad range of medical conditions, primarily using electronic health records.
- Summarizes data and present chart review results to Principal Investigator and study team.
- Coordinates and manages chart review labels for study team
- Responsible for maintaining project adherence to all applicable policies and procedures for research study and in accordance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of one year of work experience.
- Prior experience in medical record review is required.
- Proficiency in writing; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience working with MS SQL Server, Excel and ACCESS
- No specific license/certification or registration is required.
- Keyboard/typing skills for data entry.
- Must have interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons with chronic disease in order to gain their cooperation in the research projects and allay apprehensions.
- Must be able to prioritize and organize work responsibilities in order to meet deadlines so as not to hamper the progress of the studies.
- Must possess integrity to maintain confidentiality.
- Must demonstrate accuracy in recording data.
- Must be able to make independent judgments under general supervision for the above mentioned job duties and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of medical and analytical terminology.
