Annapolis Hand Center is seeking a self-motivated, team player to join our growing practice. Our busy upper extremity surgery office has a position available for an experienced Medical Assistant.

This position will be responsible for assisting providers in the office setting to include:

preparing exam rooms, removing sutures, setting up injections, reviewing patient health history and thoroughly documenting medical information and patient encounters in the EMR.

Non-clinical responsibilities include maintaining and ordering medical supplies, completing patient paperwork and answering phone calls.

This position will also cross train to cover front desk duties when needed**:
check in, check out, insurance authorization, answering phones and scheduling.
