    May include:

    • Be the chief advocate for manufacturing operations and end customers, ensuring all the new products are launched at a better-quality level than the products we currently produce.
    • Through a comprehensive set of established metrics, the Quality Engineer tracks and communicates the current state of quality performance
    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and assuring product quality by virtue of standards adherence.
    • In coordination with cross functional teams oversee and drive the Corrective and Preventive Actions related to quality issues directly affecting operations and customers. Take lead with multidisciplinary teams to drive corresponding efforts to execute corrections to product designs/standards, supplier issues, and internal manufacturing processes.
    • Communicate internally regarding current quality problems such as 8D's- problem description, status, root cause analysis, and resolution timetable.
    • Provide support to production and ensure system adherence.
    • Ensure that product design, supplier, reliability, equipment and component changes have been fully verified and validated
    • Coordinate effectively with cross functional Departments to ensure that supplier changes and internal changes are fully qualified after implementation.
    • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
    • Conduct Product, process, supplier and ISO 9001 Internal Audits
    • Provide quality support to other plants as required.
    • Manage and support UL , ETL, EN , ISO and other third party audits / inspections and ensure compliance,
    • Provide guidance and support to quality technician / inspectors / Auditor.
    • Develop, maintain and improve quality procedures, forms and other released documentation.
    • Manage calibration and support quality lab performance.
