Description

The Hurlock Branch of the Dorchester County Public Library is currently seeking an hourly Library Clerk.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answering phones and recording messages
• Record management
• Handling and recording monetary transactions
• Checking materials in and out
• Providing reference assistance
• Performing opening and closing procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Creating displays and promotional materials
• Shelving materials
• Assisting patrons with the use of library computers, copiers and other library equipment
• Attending and participating in library meetings, workshops and training sessions
