Description

Under designated supervision, this position performs patron support and craft & trades duties that are not higher or equivalent to an HPP2. This position may work in a retail or food facility, preparing and serving simple foods and beverages, basic stocking, or other craft & trades HPP2 duties. They may also operate a cash register or other sales-related equipment, assessing customer needs by providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The work may be assigned in more than one facility.

May operate an oven, roller grill, or other kitchen equipment following set procedures, requiring no advanced cooking skills. Ensures heat and eat items are properly heated or cooled as necessary.

Maintains required sanitation and cleanliness levels in the work area.

Handles documentation, performs inventory checks, prepares daily cash reports, and other related paperwork.

Assists in replenishing merchandise on the sales floor, maintaining a neat and presentable display according to instructions.

Rings up sales on cash registers or other equipment, handles payments, and may process new accounts and transactions.

Works on stock availability by conducting periodic counts and advising management on inventory status. Resolves customer complaints at the initial level and communicates barriers to optimal customer experience to management.

Stocks food or retail supplies before selling periods and replenishes items as needed. Assists in maintaining retail shelf labels and ensures accurate pricing.

Provides high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service, greeting and engaging customers to build trust and deliver a personalized experience.

Performs other duties as assigned and actively promotes the benefits of the Military Star Credit Card to customers to drive sales growth and increase loyalty.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant job experience may substitute for educational requirements.
