- Provide clinical consultation to the primary care social work team in a group and individual format
- Consultation for emergent patient concerns
- Consultation regarding effective practice and professional collaboration in a multidisciplinary medical setting
- Professional and ethical consultation to assure the staffs' care is consistent with Washington State social work profession ethics and scope of practice, as well as Neighborcare Health policies and social work role.
- Provide licensure supervision for social work staff members either working toward licensure or maintaining licensure. The supervision shall be in accordance with standards and responsibilities of the approved supervisor for the Washington State LICSW, LASW, and Counselor as detailed in the Washington Administrative Code.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Washington State social work and counselor code of ethics, standards and practice. Be able to transmit this knowledge to staff, and help them apply it to individual cases.
- Work with the Program Manager for Behavioral Health and Social Work to align their consultation and supervision with the Neighborcare social work program expectations and standards.
- Enjoys working at the top of their license
- Ability to work with individuals of varying ethnicities, socio-economic levels, cultures, and sexual orientations
- Depth of practice experience as a Licensed Independent Social Worker providing care to patients with varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds and varied medical and psychosocial presentations.
- Experience as a clinical supervisor in the social work profession
- Experience working in a leadership role with a diverse team of health care providers and administrators
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Three (3)+ years of direct mental health clinician supervision
- Two (2)+ years of independent practice

Purpose
The Clinical Supervisor to Primary Care Social Workers will support the primary care social work team by providing clinical consultation and licensure supervision.
The clinical supervisor will provide clinical consultation and supervision in accordance with the ethics, standards and scope of practice for the social work profession in Washington State, the standards and expectations of the Neighborcare Health's Social Work role, and the organization's Mission, Guiding Principles and Goals.
The clinical supervisor utilizes his/her expertise to help social work staff members manage challenging patient cases and colleague requests, stay within their role responsibilities and professional ethics, and grow in their skill and abilities as a practicing social worker.
