Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista for an event at DESIGN MIAMI May 1- May 20.

Hours: 9AM - 6:30PM. (9 Hour Days - 1 Hour OT). $285/day + Tips. The Tips will be split at the end of the event and shared with the team

If you can work all 5 days you will have priority. If you can work 4 days you will also be considered.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing customer needs promptly
• Upsell products and promote specials to customers
• Follow food safety standards and guidelines
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with TOAST POS is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
• Understanding of food safety practices in a food service environment
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Ability to handle food safely according to industry standards

From $30.00 per hour


Experience:

• Guest services: 1 year (preferred)
• Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
