Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to assist the Safety team in maintaining the level of service required to meet the needs of a growing business.

Day-to-day activities will be centered around planned and unplanned support activities, such as daily assessments, incident reporting and resolution, and providing general support to our safety systems.

This position's internal job code is EHS Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for level 1-2.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain various Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) related forms, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
  • Monitor EHS incident reports, and drive investigations and corrective actions to closure
  • Assist senior staff with safety risk assessments, and preparation and delivery of training content
  • Primary administrator of calibrated equipment database
  • Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Excellent communication skills and able to develop positive relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to selfmotivate and accomplish tasks with mínimal oversight
  • Proven organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g. OSHA)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Summary Pay-Range

  • Level 1: $ $42.67
  • Level 2: $72,250 $106,250
