Description
Nemours is seeking a Supervisor, Anesthesia Technician to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Malvern, PA.

The Supervisor, Anesthesia Technician serves as the serves as point person to coordinate daily flow of services, supervision of Anesthesia Technicians, and oversight of supplies and equipment.

This position leads daily anesthesia technician activities and services at all Anesthesia locations.

Ensures appropriate anesthesia technician staffing on the floor, schedules assignments and breaks, creates staffing/scheduling grids as directed by manager, and escalate situations to the attention of manager, if needed.

Assists in the recruitment and evaluation of Anesthesia Technicians, and leads staff development, training, new employee orientation, as directed by manager.

This position may assist in quality assurance programs as directed by manager. Participates in process improvement committees, as assigned.

Hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Possible Rotation


Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate's Degree Preferred
  • AHA BLS Required, ACLS/PALS preferred
  • National certification as CER.A.T. or CER.A.T.T. from the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred
