is an international ready -to-eat cereal and ingredient manufacturer seeking a person to work as a Quality Assurance Associate in 2nd shift with the below job description.

Provide on-shift guidance and support for all aspect of quality and food safety to include the following:

• Validation of Certificate of Analysis (COA) of all incoming raw materials
• Response to Food Safety events, review and verification of Critical Control Points (CCP)
• Execution of the environmental monitoring program, EMP Swab
• Assist in Allergen Management Program
• Inspection/verification of process equipment prior to startup.
• Other duties as assigned

Conduct physical-chemical testing of in-process and finished products


Conduct plant, food safety and security audits

• Continually look for food safety hazards or places to improve the plant and process
• Conducting daily product evaluation/review
• Assist in employee training in food safety, HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs.

Critical on-shift team member and will communicate deficiencies and drive follow-up.


Cross-Functional Support

• Support an environment of learning and growth.
• Provide Certificate of Analysis for all finished products.

This position is assigned to 2nd shift, but all training will be conducted on 1st shift.

QA/QC background in food processing facility is an advantage

$ $23.00 per hour
