We are looking for an experienced House Manager to support the Executive Director and help lead our community, located in Brookfield, WI.

This person is highly motivated, professional, and a team player who is not afraid of challenges while supporting the Executive Director on resident care and team member relations and engagement.

They will be dedicated to promoting the highest well-being for our residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of Dementia.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assists in the supervision of staff while maintaining superior training.
  • Assist with new resident movein as directed or assigned by management.
  • Complete and/or assist with resident care to ensure the highest quality of life, care, and services, including, but not limited to: ADL assistance bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, dining, taking, and recording vital signs and weights, etc.
  • Flexibility with schedule including or not limited to oncall or working on the floor as needed.
  • Leads, directs, and motivates staff while maintaining excellent training and morale under the Executive Director. Following Azura's MOSAIC standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with new resident movein as directed or assigned by management.
  • Complete and/or assist with resident care to ensure the highest quality of life, care, and services, including, but not limited to: ADL assistance bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, dining, taking, and recording vital signs and weights, etc.
  • Maintains high levels of resident satisfaction and maintains consistent quality service delivery. Provides guidance to staff and residents that includes proactive problem and problem solving.
  • Hires, trains, disciplines, and terminates employees in accordance with company policies. Reviews the hiring, promotion, disciplinary action, and resignation of employees, paying attention to the continuity of selection and retention of quality personnel.
  • Promotes the creativity of staff to provide the highest quality and optimal services. Responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of stability.
  • Create and maintain a positive image in the community. Active in the social and civic relations of the local community using Azura's MOSAIC approach.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a resident care setting
  • Previous experience with interviewing and schedules
  • Positive outlook and attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in health care is a plus.
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Every other weekend required.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Overnight shift
  • Rotating weekends

Experience:


  • Manager: 2 years (required)
