Job Description

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Greenville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents, and conduct routine checks throughout the site.

You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to appropriate personnel and/or public responders as required by post orders.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, observe for unusual conditions, and address violations of posted rules through verbal direction and/or escalation per site policy.

Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
