Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Roving Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to resident and guest concerns, and communicate clearly with your team and site contacts. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, including access control and visitor management as assigned.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate parties per post orders.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual activity and conditions.

Monitor cameras, intercoms, gates, and/or other security-related equipment as assigned, and complete routine checks of doors, lighting, and access points.

Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and oncoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card/license is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
