Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with physicians and other providers to ensure high-quality care and accurate documentation for Surgical patients
Part of the SCIP committee with active participation in enhancing process improvement measures
Carry out tasks outlined under surgical services ARNP/Physician Assistant delineation of privileges
Offer professional guidance and assistance to healthcare team members through effective communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
Show Service Excellence consistently
Perform other assigned duties

This opportunity involves PRN varied hours for the Operating Room with on-call duties

Job Information:

Minimum 3-5 years of First Assist OR experience needed for consideration
On-call availability required
Compensation of $43 per hour

Qualifications

Active FL RN License
Minimum 2 years of First Assist OR experience is required
BLS and ACLS certification mandatory

License or Registration Requirements:

· Maintain currency in CSFA certification (through NBSTSA) or SA-C certification (through ABSA) for employment

· Hold licensure as a Surgical First Assistant per State Law regulations

· Possess current American Heart Association BLS certification

Training:

Completion of a CAAHEP accredited or ABSA approved First Assistant program with didactic and supervised clinical practice

· Additional training and experience may be required by the medical staff during credentialing and privileging processes

· Engage in continuous education programs to enhance clinical skills related to perioperative or First Assisting practices
