    Jiant is looking for a Content Specialist to be a vital part of Jiant's marketing team. This role will have ownership over Jiant's TikTok channels and video content strategy, and will work closely with the Director of Marketing to bring the brand to life digitally. The ideal candidate will be a megaphone for Jiant's brand and products, stays on top of current social trends, and isn't afraid to turn the camera on themselves, often. This is an exciting opportunity to further establish Jiant's digital presence in this critical phase of the brand's growth and innovation.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Content Creation

    • Video Content: Ideate, create, and edit content for TikTok and Reels, generating brand awareness, educating viewers, introducing new products, and entertaining.
    • Field Content: Feel comfortable behind and in front of the camera, attending local events and working with local team members to create content in the field.
    • Copywriting: Internalize and amplify the Jiant brand voice, writing/editing all copy for social media.

    Partnerships

    • Influencer Management: Source, engage, and manage a list of influencers to be used in marketing campaigns, ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
    • Social Partnerships: Source and build relationships with other brands to execute social-only marketing campaigns, giveaways, partner content, etc.
    • Product gifting: Developing and executing gifting ideas/packages for influencers, partners, PR mailers, etc.

    Community Management

    • Content Planning: Own and operate Jiant's social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram) and their respective content calendars.
    • Community Management: Engage Jiant's community, answering DMs/comments, customer service questions, etc. to drive a positive and high-touch brand experience.
    • Drive growth of Jiant audiences on social media to reach goals and KPIs.
    • Assets: Maintain and update external and internal digital asset library.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Live in LA and be comfortable working in the office in Culver City
    • Willing to work nights and weekends as needed
    • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
    • Keeps an organized schedule – you'll be part of a lean team and will juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time
    • Confident and outgoing with excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Lives to create content and have an eye for aesthetic
    • Video-editing experience
    • Graphic-design experience a plus
