Description

The German Association of University Professors and Lecturers is the professional representation of scientists in Germany with over members. We are a comprehensive service and information institution and represent the academic, legal, and economic interests of scientists towards the state and society.

For our headquarters in Bonn-Bad Godesberg with around 85 employees, we are currently seeking a full-time IT Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for the administration of our network, client-server, and communication structures (Linux servers and Windows clients)
Management and further development of our hardware and software infrastructure, installation, configuration, update and upgrade services, as well as patch management
Ensuring the availability of our IT and communication infrastructure, analyzing technical problems and troubleshooting
Supporting colleagues with questions and issues related to IT
Participating in internal digitalization projects and implementing new solutions
Occasional programming tasks

Your profile:

IT education (e.g. IT specialist) or successfully completed degree in computer science or a related field; applications from beginners and career changers are also welcome
IT skills such as network administration, server management (Linux), and knowledge of communication technologies and security concepts
