Position Highlights:

Position: Patient Scheduling Representative
Central Scheduling
Location: Warrenville, IL
Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30am6:00pm and 2 Saturdays (8 am12 pm) per quarter. Possibility to work remote or hybrid schedule after 4 months of training and must meet all productivity/quality metrics. (Must reside in Illinois)

What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED, BILINGUAL SPANISH preferred but no required

Minimum one year of physician office experience or Customer Service experience
Strong organizational skills, a multi tasker and able to adapt to change when needed
MUST BE ABLE TO TYPE AT LEAST 30wpm. A typing assessment will be part of the interview.
Completion of a medical terminology course and/or knowledge of physician office operations is preferred

General Summary:

Providing GREAT customer service
Obtaining/Verifying demographic and insurance information
Scheduling/canceling/rescheduling appointments per protocol
Takes clear and concise messages and relays to the appropriate clinical staff. Having a questioning attitude to determine the urgency of the call to take proper action.
Must be multifunctional and adapt to changes when needed
Central scheduling Specialist must be comfortable sitting at a computer for long periods of time answering one call after another. The position uses a headset and dual monitors.
All interactions with patients are via phone/ in basket messages; no face to face contact other than coworkers
