Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 support and assistance to the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and educational environment for our students with developmental delays/autism.

This is a paid position, and we offer opportunities for professional growth and development.


PAID TRAINING

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students with special education needs
  • Assist with toddler care, including diapering, feeding, and ensuring a safe environment
  • Work closely with students on the autism spectrum, providing guidance and support
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher in curriculum development and implementation
  • Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and addressing challenging behaviors

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Familiarity with curriculum development for young children
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with special needs
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
We provide a warm and family orientaed environemt to our staff We also host many event gatherings.


Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
