Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 support and assistance to the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and educational environment for our students with developmental delays/autism.

This is a paid position, and we offer opportunities for professional growth and development.

PAID TRAINING

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
Provide individualized attention and support to students with special education needs
Assist with toddler care, including diapering, feeding, and ensuring a safe environment
Work closely with students on the autism spectrum, providing guidance and support
Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
Collaborate with the lead teacher in curriculum development and implementation
Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and addressing challenging behaviors

Qualifications:

Experience working with students in an educational setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Familiarity with curriculum development for young children
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with special needs
Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics

We provide a warm and family orientaed environemt to our staff We also host many event gatherings.

Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

Work setting:
