    Job Description:

    • Peer Recovery/Support Specialist will use their own recovery experience and peer certification training to assist clients with defining their recovery goals developing the skills and knowledge needed for their recovery.
    • This position works to provide a warm transition into a community setting for clients leaving in-patient facility.
    • Peer Recovery Specialist will interact with many different types of behavioral health and medical professionals while remaining true to the mission of peer support.
    • Peer Recovery Specialist will advocate for clients while being in partnership with other staff members.
    • Assist with transportation to treatment and other community providers when necessary.
