- Machine Operators install, maintain, and operate machinery to meet dimensional conformity. In-depth training may be required in order to prepare a Machine Operator for their daily duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ideal on going technical education or 1 year degree finished
- Knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.

- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

- Inspection of own work (Visual and dimensional) with use of hand tools, gages and metrology equipment (comparator, height gages, etc)
- Troubleshoot problems that may occur during shift
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity record
- Deburr own part
- Basic Mathematical calculations
