- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions
- Perform physical examinations and medical assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay uptodate with advancements in cardiology research and treatment options
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
