    JOB SUMMARY The Health Information Services Director guides and manages the overall provision of Health Information Services, policies, and sections

    The areas directed are:

    coding; transcription; release of information; analysis; suspension; pre/scan/QC of documents; and retrieval and storage of paper medical records.## Establishes policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and completeness of the medical record.#
    JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelor#s Degree Minimum Work Experience 5 Years Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position.

    Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Proven managerial skills. Strong commitment to religious values of the institution. Supervisory experience required. Deals effectively with community/consumers. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times. Requires ability to handle confidential information. Supervises employees. Develop and compile statistical data. Interview others. Maintains work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards. Develop program indicators. Proven written and editing skills. Designated Driver No OSHA Category - Low Risk
