Position Summary:
Metal Crafters is a small family-owned machine and fabrication job shop looking for a Customer Experience/Marketing Coordinator. We owe our success to people and processes. We are currently seeking someone exceptional for this role.
As a Customer Experience/Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of Metal Crafters.
Areas of Responsibility to Include (but not limited to):
- Manage the front-desk and reception area, serving as the first point of contact for customers and visitors.
- Go the extra mile to engage customers.
- Communicate with customers through various channels.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking detailed and accurate visitor requests, including telephone messages and intake of customer job orders, and processing customer payments.
- Act as company gatekeeper
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Responsible for arranging for the shipment of outgoing goods, including selecting the appropriate carrier, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Pack outgoing orders according to customer specifications and prepare them for shipment.
- Perform general administrative tasks (answering phone, data entry)
- Research and explore new customers online to assist sales with company growth.
- Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company's brand identity.
- Promote the Metal Crafters brand by various means (social media, merchandise, website).
- Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing, and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Customer oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Experience in marketing coordination or similar role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Must have a friendly personality and positive attitude.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
