Description

The Chiropractic Assistant will serve as the primary customer service representative for the chiropractic clinic, and as such will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Open & close the chiropractic clinic
• Greeting patients and making them feel welcome
• Answering phones promptly
• Schedule appointments and maintain Chiropractor's calendar
• Manage patient flow
• Patient intake and outtake
• Processing patient paperwork
• Maintain patient charts and computer records
• Explain fees, accept payments, and issue receipts
• Perform routine collections on pastdue accounts
• Code and bill insurance claims
• Educate patients on treatment procedures, insurance information requirements and limitations
• Light Cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Must be able to work between 8am & 8pm Monday-Friday


Physical requirements:

• Dependable attendance required
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions
• This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a minimum 8hour day.
• Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written directions.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the phone.
• Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines, etc.

Pay:
Up to $19.00 per hour
