Overview
As a Barista/ Cashier, you'll be pivotal to our vibrant cafe experience. You will leverage your coffee knowledge to craft high-quality espresso drinks and innovative specialty beverages.

Your work will support our company's mission to create beautiful memories for all of our customers through excellent care and hospitality.


Responsibilities

  • As a Barista:
  • Maintain a neatly groomed and a clean appearance during every shift
  • Create positive interactions with every customer at all time
  • Have a deep understanding of different coffee origins, brewing methods and expresso drinks
  • Answer customer inquiries, complaints and requests with kindness and confidence
  • Upsell products or services to maximize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff for exceptional service
  • Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
  • As a cashier:
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a flawless checkout experience with cash, credit cards, and gift certificates
  • Operate our Heartland POS including ordering app features with speed, proficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain meticulous cash drawer records and reconcile transactions daily
  • Communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone

Qualifications

  • 3+ years commercial cashier experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for fourhour shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • TABC/ Serv Safe is a plus

Shifts
Mon-Sat 7AM-10AM
Mon-Sat 10AM-2PM
