    Licensed Therapist Opportunity Description

    SimiTree Talent Solutions is a leading search firm for the Behavioral / Mental Health industry. Our client is looking for a full-time, on-site Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a high acuity Psychiatric & Substance Abuse residential facility in the Umatilla / Altoona, FL area. We are looking for a dedicated, resilient clinician who can handle pressurized situations. Must be licensed in the state of Florida or have a compact license. Relocation candidates welcome to apply. This area is rich in outdoor activities and provides nearby access to Disney and other Orlando area attractions

    Licensed Therapist Preferred Qualifications
    • Experienced with patients who have Serious Mental Illness.
    • Experienced with co-occurring substance use disorders.
    • Experienced with therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT. Certification preferred.
    • Substance Abuse Experience (SUD) preferred.
    Licensed Therapist Requirements
    • Two years of mental health therapy and counseling experience.
    • Florida LICSW or LMHC required.
    • Ability to work on-site.
    • Strong written, verbal, and listening, patient report building, and assessment skills.
    Licensed Therapist Responsibilities
    • Responsible for assessment, individual, family sessions and other client services.
    • Manage a primary caseload, facilitating primary group, and leading other therapeutic behavioral health efforts as designated by the Clinical Director.
    • Develop an individualized treatment plan using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
    • Build relationships with a diverse set of patients.
    • Work collaboratively with prescribers, clinicians, and families.
    The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position. Our client does offer a competitive compensation package potentially including incentives, health and dental insurance, PTO, retirement plans (401K) and opportunities for professional development.
