This is an entry level clinical pharmacist position.The clinical pharmacist supports the vision, mission, and goals of YNHHS and the Department of Pharmacy and demonstrates competency in all basic clinical pharmacist skills.

EDUCATION
(number of years and type required to perform the position duties): Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree
EXPERIENCE
Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience is desirable, but not required.
LICENSURE
CT Pharmacist Licensure required, active and without restrictions. If required, will be responsible for obtaining out of state licenses to register for non-resident pharmacy licenses. BLS (Basic Life Support) certified or obtained within 6 months of hire. Immunization certified or obtained within 6 months of hire.
SPECIAL SKILLS
This individual should demonstrate basic knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, and understand pharmacy systems of drug distribution and formulary management.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Travel to care sites for meetings may be required.
