Your tasks:

What you will do in the apprenticeship:

  • Apprenticeship focusing on IT topics (especially developing and manufacturing electronics using hardware and software)
  • Planning and configuration of IT systems and maintenance of IT infrastructure
  • Testing and repairing electronic information and system technologies
  • Programming, installation, and configuration on the computer
  • At the beginning of the apprenticeship, basic knowledge of electrical engineering will be taught at external training facilities
  • The apprenticeship is usually shortened to 2.5 years

What to expect in the study program:
  • Acquisition of knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, and computer science/programming as part of the Electrical Engineering degree program at FH Südwestfalen, Hagen campus
  • Acquisition of key qualifications (project management, presentation techniques, etc.)
  • After completing the first phase of the apprenticeship, you will work in engineering-related activities for 4 days a week
