Job DescriptionMonday-Friday 7:45am to 4:15pm. No weekends or holidays in the Endocrinology clinic.

Responsible for processing registration and discharge of patients, appropriate placement of patients with providers, verifying insurance benefits, and making financial arrangements to ensure maximum reimbursement.

A patient representative serves as the first point of contact for patients when they enter a medical facility.

They greet and check-in patients, get patient information, collect payments, assist with necessary paperwork, and fulfill other customer service or administrative duties.

Must haves are experience in healthcare setting, insurance experience, and customer service.

High School Diploma/GED required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA preferred.
1-2 years of relevant experience in a health care setting preferred.
Requires ability to learn and retain medical coding; ICD-10; CPT coding experience preferred.
Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred.
