    Job Description
    We are a family-owned ice cream manufacturing facility located in Miami. We are looking for a Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You'll ensure the interminable and efficient running of our ice cream production.


    Responsibilities:


    • Setting up equipment for production.
    • Clean and rinse equipment according to specified procedure.
    • Controlling and adjusting machine settings.
    • Feeding raw materials.
    • Inspect parts and fix issues that might occur during shift.
    • Routinely check production outputs.
    • Completes all daily required documentation and reporting for equipment, supplies and product.
    • Maintains company standard for cleanliness, food safety and productivity in the production area.
    • Provides support for the production supervisor in maintaining continuous production and adjusting when necessary.
    • Ensures compliance to Quality and Food Safety Programs such as SQF, FDA; assures conformity to all Company, Customer and Government Standards.

    Requirements:


    • Must be able to speak both English and Spanish.
    • Must be able to stand for 10 – 12 hour shift (sometimes longer) with regular breaks.
    Required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed during the busy season. Must use protection such as eye/face protection, hair/beard nets, masks, slip-resistant shoes, and gloves are required as necessary in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.

    • Must be legal to work in US and have reliable transportation.

    Qualifications:


    • Prior Food Manufacturing Experience preferred.
    • Prior Experience as Machine Operator on various equipment.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
    • Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
    • Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
