Columbia Property Management is a small rental management company located in the NoMa area of Washington, DC.Our specialty is providing a more personal level of service to our clients and for all who interact with our company, a sense of being taken care of.
We focus on providing leasing and management services to landlords who own single-family rental units such as homes or individual condo units to help them create and maintain value in their investments.
We have cultivated a special team culture of mutual support and trust that helps us follow through on our goal of providing excellent customer service.
We are growing and currently seeking a motivated Junior Property Manager who will advocate for and represent a portfolio of individual rental units.
This role includes responsibility for ensuring all property manager related tasks for that address are completed promptly and professionally, proactively initiating tasks as needed at various stages in the property management lifecycle.
The job requires a mix of online work and on-site visits to rental addresses.Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Prior property management experience preferred but not necessary company will provide on the job training.
- Experience preferred in hospitality, highend retail, or as a transaction coordinator in a real estate sales office or a processor in a title or settlement attorney's office.
- Past Formal training in customer service is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, some experience with property management software, and ability to quickly learn other software.

Compensation for Assistant Property Manager:
$60,000 - $65,000
