What you'll do:
The Strategic & Reputational Risk team is part of the Bank's wider Risk Management department and a rapidly growing team focused on providing expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities throughout the Bank.
The Risk Management department plays a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk.
What we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate committee/board meeting material compilation within the 2nd Line of Defense and with 1st/3rd Line of Defense authors.
- Manage risk committee/board meeting administration, such as annual agenda planning, meeting minutes and followups, as well as charter assessments.
- Enhance and formalize risk committee/board reporting activities, focusing on reporting accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
- Drive risk governance improvements, in particular reporting clarity and usefulness while balancing agenda comprehensiveness, depth, and focus.
- Participate in development of Strategic & Reputational Risk team committee/board deliverables as needed (e.g., Risk Appetite Statement KRI reporting, Large Financial Institution Readiness updates).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 6 years of direct or related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Public Accounting, or Management Consulting
- Knowledge of general banking operations and governance practices, industry trends, competitive landscape, and corporate strategy
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Experience with enterprisewide change management principles and/or complex initiatives
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of an organization, especially senior management
- Ability to drive multiple agendas simultaneously to achieve continuous outcomes
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Compensation:
Salary range for new hires is generally $135, $167,053.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
