As the Academic Affairs Director and serving as the Deputy to the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs, Research, and Innovation at Baruch College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape and ensuring operational excellence in academic personnel administration.
In this role, your leadership, attention to detail, and collaborative approach will be instrumental in driving academic excellence and operational efficiency at Baruch College.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Operating Policies:
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive operating policies and procedures governing academic personnel administration, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and best practices

- Faculty Information Systems Administration:
- Information Management:
- Collaborative Consultation:
- Staff Supervision:
- Reporting Management:
Manage the production and distribution of reports across all areas of responsibility, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.- Serves as the lead administrator on immigration matters and serves as the liaison for Office of Academic Affairs with the immigration law firm to support the onboarding of international faculty.- Manage the personnel process for part-time instructional personnel actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience with faculty workload management, CUNYFirst, and Baruch academic personnel policies required

Directs College activities and operations related to Academic matters to support academic policy and student learning strategies.- Designs, implements and monitors an array of academic initiatives, programs, priorities, and functions- Develops strategic plans, academic program proposals, and curricular reports- Assesses outcomes to improve services and support student success- Creates and oversees academic support initiatives- Administers College articulation efforts- Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and reporting requirements- Liaisons with faculty and professional staff in departments and offices across the College- Manages operational and program budgets; manages, trains, and develops staff- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range:
$119,995 - $129,310; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
