Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team.

You will preform general duties of a team member by working on the harvest floor, processing department, and cutting meat for the retail store.

This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meat products that meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and portion meat products according to customer requests
• Ensure that all cuts of meat are of high quality and meet food safety standards
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing meat products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the meat department
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Skills:

• Strong knife skills and ability to handle various types of cutting equipment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
• Previous meat industry experience is required
• Familiarity with the food handling and production processes
• Willingness to recieve constructive feedback pertaining to job performance
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be ablw to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 80lbs
• Must be able to be flexable with scedule to meet the needs of the processing plant.

Pay:
$30, $40,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Johnstown, PA required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Johnstown, PA 15906: Relocate before starting work (required)
