Description

Global Tech I is a key contributor to the energy transition as the operator of the offshore wind farm of the same name on Oak Island. Our 400-megawatt power plant in the North Sea produces green electricity for approximately households. We laid the foundation in 2010 and planned and built the park in a unique pioneering effort. Since 2015, we have been coordinating operations from our location in Hamburg and through our offshore personnel within the wind farm. You won't be alone at sea with us, but rather part of our open and innovative team. Together, we shape the future of Global Tech I as a sustainable, efficient, and successful wind farm operator.

What to expect from us:

The heart of our wind farm is the substation. Due to its distance from the mainland, the substation also serves as a logistical base and is permanently staffed. As team leader, you will be responsible for the Technical and Maintenance team for the substation and Balance of Plant. Together with the team, you will ensure the maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical systems and equipment to ensure the operation of the substation, as well as the tripod foundation structures of the wind turbines.
