Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Salesforce Administrator for the Research and Evaluation Department.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 12 years of work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, or have completed the Admin Beginner and Intermediate trail on Trailhead
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
Who You Are.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Administration best practices
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Experience in Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) (strongly preferred), Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Analytics Cloud.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Be an active trailhead learner
What You'll Do

  • Serve as primary system administrator for HCZ Salesforce users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, flows and other routine tasks
  • Implement and enforce data quality best practices, including data cleaning and deduplication, to ensure accurate and reliable data within the Salesforce platform
  • Document key policies, procedures, best practices and use cases specific to the organization
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Perform data uploads with data acquired from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data integrity
  • Assist in training of power users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across all departments
Schedule

  • Monday through Friday (9am 5pm)
  • Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
