Job Overview:

Trident EP is seeking a highly organized and driven Distribution Manager to join our team in Pottstown, PA.

This role involves managing logistics and distribution operations for MFDs, MFD parts, and toner, including coordination across various locations and third-party services.

The Distribution Manager will ensure efficient management across multiple facets of the supply chain, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and technological integration.

Responsibilities:

Oversee logistics and distribution activities across multiple locations, ensuring efficient management of MFDs, MFD parts, and toner.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security across operational locations.
Review and prepare workflow, manning, and space requirements, inventory, and stock movements.
Manage stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets, and environmental objectives are met.
Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods.
Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Key Tasks:

Vendor Management: Manage relationships and coordinate activities with multiple vendors, including specialized service providers. Ensure all vendor orders are accurately tracked and integrated into financial systems such as QuickBooks.

Advanced Stock Management: Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels. Adjust inventory based on dynamic conditions and project future needs to prevent shortages.

Complex Shipping Coordination: Oversee and manage complex shipping arrangements including parcel and freight, ensuring compliance with insurance and safety standards. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers like DHL and TQL for both standard and specialized shipping needs.

Technological Proficiency: Utilize advanced tools such as Smartsheet for data entry and management. Produce accurate and timely reports to aid in decision-making and operational efficiency.

Communication and Documentation: Maintain clear and precise documentation of distribution and inventory processes. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including tech updates and inventory changes to regional managers and other departments.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Distribution Manager or similar role, preferably with experience in handling electronic equipment and parts.
Excellent ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of managing supply chain logistics.
Proficient in using inventory management software and databases.
Ability to handle heavy lifting of up to 70 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in supply chain management is a plus.
Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift license.
Valid driver's license.

Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
