Description

New openings with or a client, a customer focused engineering and construction firm located at Union Station in downtown Washington DC. Provide specialized mechanical, electrical,

plumbing and fire protection engineering design for commercial and critical infrastructure projects in support of federal agencies and the military. Much of the work performed is directly for their clients and requires significant client interface and project management capabilities. Due to substantial project pipelines, there is a resulting need to add an Engineer to meet their needs in both the engineering and construction divisions.

Seeking a capable Senior Mechanical Engineer who seeks a leadership role in an early phase growth company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply and grow your skills and experience.

This person must be able to maintain and hold a clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project requirements and work with our clients

Serve as Lead Project Engineer for work involving HVAC and plumbing systems

Apply your skills to prepare and direct construction documentation, studies, and other critical reports

Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers on staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university

Professional Engineering registration PE

4+ year's previous Mechanical engineering work experience in building design

Working knowledge of IBC, ASHRAE, and other NFPA codes

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualification

Experience with REVIT
