    Mechanical Engineer (Satellite & Space Tech)


    Location:
    Kashiwa, Chiba

    Our client is a leader in cutting-edge space technology, recruiting a Mechanical Engineer. You'll focus on developing systems for satellite propulsion. Our client offers a flexible working arrangement. This is a chance to work on brand-new technologies at the front of a growing company & industry.


    Responsibilities:
    Design and analyze propulsion mechanisms for satellites.

    Manage tooling designs, assembly, and testing of propulsion units.

    Address challenges in miniaturization, thermal management, and assembly efficiency.

    Communicate and negotiate with vendors.


    Qualifications:
    Comprehensive knowledge of materials, structural integrity, and processing, particularly machining.

    Proficient in using 3D CAD for design and analytical purposes.

    Capable of converting designs into 2D schematics.


    Preferred qualifications:
    Experienced in structural analysis using 3D CAD (preferred).

    Familiar with environmental testing including vibration and shock resistance (preferred).

    Knowledgeable in vacuum technologies within aerospace applications (preferred).
